Do I like to live in a fictional story? Or just live vicariously through someone else’s experiences. Perhaps both.

Spanish Doll by Poe has the melody and the mood that envelop me like it’s a warm incandescent light bulb while an icy wind cuts through the living room window. It leaves a sweet and dark taste in my mouth that I love. Like black licorice, you ask? Not so much because I hardly indulge myself with that kind of candy. Just like I hardly find great songs like this.

It is the desirous attachment that is leading me on. Although it hasn’t caused me to self-destruct, it has definitely distracted my direction into a more significant and into a more helpful way of being. However, I’ve produced the image above not to overcome the distraction but just to practically face this type of delusion. I wanted to make it happen because I wanted to see what’s on that side of that delusion.
